I have a 2005 SLK350 and may need brakes soon. Do you have to replace the rotors along with the brakes, or can you just do the pads themselves?
One other thing, are they easy enough to replace for a DIY?

 

i wouldn't change the rotors unless you were running metal on metal and or you have vibration when appling brakes. they aren't difficult at all, with the proper tools, to replace. check on brakes and brake tools at autohausaz.com
