My wife and I have two SLK's purchased in March 1999. Both cars are serviced every year at our dealer with the annual state inspection. To our surprice, her SLK with less than 10,000 miles required new tires this year due to poor alignment. Now my SLK with 14,000 miles needs new tires due to poor alignment. I have never had to replace tires this quickly on any car. Does anybody know if the SLK has a recurring problem that the dealer should address?

 

I WORK ON FOR A LIVING ..NEED TO CHECK FT. LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHING THEY GO BAD PRETTY QUICK..DO YOU FEEL A THUMP WHEN YOU BRAKE OR BACK UP????
