Spark plug advice - 2000 R129 SL500

Default Spark plug advice - 2000 R129 SL500
My 2000 SL500 has the original sparking plugs. So after 16 years and 36,000 miles, what, if any, trouble will I have in changing out all 16 spark plugs?

Why would I need to replace the coil packs? Also, is there any risk in removing the plugs? Any chance of them breaking when I remove them?
