SL500 1997 Soft top roof problem

Default SL500 1997 Soft top roof problem
Hi, My battery went flat on my 1997 SL500 while caught abroad with Volcano dust and now my soft top wont come down. Windows etc all work but the roof wont budge.
Battery is fully charged. Please can anyone suggest a solution?
