Hi, I've just joined the site I live in London, England and own an SL 320 AMG late 1993. I'm having trouble raising my soft top and have been to a local Mercedes Specialist. We concluded that the soft top controller was to blame and have sent it off to have it re-constructed. As you know a new one is in the region of £1000. I did some research on the internet and came across a company selling a Smart Top Stax MZ1, in the UK, that would replace my module but for about £200. It's cheaper than the repair, I'm having done, to the module. I think the Stax MZ1 is of U.S origin and is sold in the USA. Does anyone have any knowledge of this product? Have they Used it? Would they recommend it? Regards Max
