Hi, I have a problem with my 1993 300sl. The soft top button stays lit and it constantly beeps as I drive. I think the car believes the top isn't fully opened or closed and I remember a couple years back someone told me how to diagnose and reset the soft top cpu by using two wires in the diagnostic sockets on the front passanger side of the car. I was wondering if anyone knows how to do this blink test and if they could give me directions. I remember the light blinks and u count the blinks for the code. Then you can reset the soft top by holding the wire to two different sockets. any help would be appreciated.
