you can't find it??? have you tried removing the trunk lining on the passenger side. pull the center pins on the lining retainers, otherwise pretty cut and dried.

Default Battery Removal...for replacement?

If the purpose of your question on battery removal is to prepare to replace the current battery with a new one, you may want to consider Roadside Assistance from MBUSA.

In the US, calling 1-800-FOR-MERC and providing your contact info and VIN# triggers a free service call to you from the closest MB dealer. The tech schedules the 'house call', and

o brings you a new MB branded battery

o removes your old one, installs the new one

o if necessary, inputs the correct radio code

o if necessary, re-synch's your other electrical systems, i.e., windows, top controller, and others I suppose that I can't think of.

The only charge for this is the retail cost of the new battery at today's going rate. You'll have to call to get the actual $ they charge. Historically, this service has been a good value.

If you need any more detail, you can read up on this service at www.mbusa.com -
