Brakes and rotors

RE: Brakes and rotors
I just had my 1996 500sl serviced and the additional charges relating to replacing the rotars and pads for the front brakes came to about $500. Again this was in additon to the $195 overall regular service fee.
BTW - this was my first service for my first mercedes. After having the service done, my brakes are much noiser than ever. It is unbelievably annoying! [:@] The service shop said this was a typical mercedes problem and they would try to fix it, but it may be something that I have to live with. They continued to say that it is more of an intermitant problem, sometimes it does this after a change other times not. No rhyme or reason to it.
Someone tell me this isn't true.

RE: Brakes and rotors
I just received a quote from a local garage that works on MB. The price qoute came to $ 645 for front rotors and brakes and rear brakes. I hope that there will be no noise when this repair is done, however it must be done. Whis me luck! Thor
