I'm trying to find an aftermarket cd changer that will hook up to the cable in my trunk. So far the closest I've found is a Pioneer Universal CD changer that plays through the FM radio. Has anyone found a decent aftermarket way to add CD capability without damaging the car or changing out the original radio? MP3 capability would be a huge bonus but I'll settle for anything that plays cds. Thanks

 

I have a 1994 SL500 and the only CD changer I believe that will hookup to the stock radio (Becker) and cable is a Alpine 6 disc changer. The Alpine changer I have in my SL is Model CHM-5601. Check with Alpine as I am sure the models have changed since I purchased mine about 11 years ago but Alpine should still make a model that is compatible.
