82 380SL constant idle oscillation 750-1250 RPMs
Greetings !
A 1982 380SL has had the following done to attempt to stop the incessant idle fluctuating:
1-new idle control module
2-new ignition control module
3-new fuel filter
4-Techron injector cleaner used
5-coolant thermal switch replaced
I am now considering replacing the fuel accumulator and/or the fuel damper. How, exactly, do these things work ? The manual only shows their outline, i.e. no xray view.
How likely is this the problem and what else/other is suggested, please ?
