Default 500sl service indicator

DOes anyone know how to reset the service indicator on a 1999 500sl

try pressing the trip odometer resest botton, the left shaft coming out of the instrument cluster next to main odometer.

just got a 94 500sl....how can i reset the the asr light,its the only light thats steady and also have power loss

wheres the ovpr located and what can u do with it....do you replace it or clean it....i have loss of power and the asr light on ...

open the systems control module compartment next to the right hood hinge. there are 5 screws that hold it on. Look for a relay with a couple of fuses on the top of it. mine is just behind the HGS module. you can get them through www.autohausaz.com

ill check that this weekend,thanks a lot.just got the car .its been sitting in a garage for over 7 yrs.just got it running and getting familiar with it.it looks great just need some good old tlc.

i still have not checked the fuses but i will as soon as i get a chance.is there a way to disable asr or do i need it.thanks
