Hi I have a 2000 SL320, does anyone know how to reset the service indicator on the dash?

 

with the key in position two- all indicator lights on- push the left cluster button until the fss indicator comes up- press and hold the button while turning the key off then back on. sometimes it works first shot- sometimes it doesn't - sometimes the door needs to be shut. if you have your owners maual it's in there as well.

I live in Ireland and they seem to omit usefull info like that from the European handbooks.
