I have a beautiful two owner pampered 1993 sl500 which I just purchased from the second owner and the low beams do not work. I replaced both headlight bulbs and have checked the fuses for the low beams but still they are not working. The high beams are fine and I think that this has been a problem for awhile and the owner I bought the car from never noticed it because the driving lights below the head lights are so bright. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Dave 305-310-3866

 

Not sure about a benz, but on American cars it is usually the dimmer switch that causes this problem.

 

Thanks for the reply, I actually new that as I have had a lot of American Muscle cars and my 1970 Nova had that problem, the dimmer switch would stick in between modes. Dave
