My top will not work - a message posts for me to ck my owners manual - not that my partition is not closed - this what it says most of the time.
When I ck the manual it says to make sure the partition is closed properly.
My interior lights do not work- not sure if this is related.

partition latches at2 spots in the back, make sure it is in all the way on both sides, the microswitch for the partition is on the right side so it has to be latched. the interior lights should have nothing to do with the hard top unless youve got some other issues.if its bright outside the interior lights might not come on because it is not needed since its bright enough.

 

If the central locking does not work either, then your problem may be a blown fuse for the pneumatic systems (PSE) pump shown here: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r230...ml#post2724583. The microswitch for the petition is wired to to the PSE.

If you can't get the top to work, I think you will have to take the car to a shop that is equiped with Mercedes' Star Diagnosis.
