The first time it happened I wasn't aware that it was possibly a design flaw with that model and didn't know to push it. This last time there was no charge because they said I caught it early. All they did was clean it out.
I am concerned that there may be damage that I am unaware of and the dealer knowing that they can't go to my insurance company like last time, is minimizing it. I got the number for complaints at Mercedes Benz but was on hold for over 8 minutes and never got to speak to anyone. I will try again when I have more time. I wanted to get the word out and that is when I found this website.

 

Just got an $8,000 estimate to "repair." Can't decide whether to call the insurance company or my attorney. Anyone know of any service bulletins on this issue, or whether I might have any leverage withMB? Hard for me to understand how they would expect the consumer to know WHERE this drainage hole is, let alone know that it is the consumer/owner's responsibilty to keep it clean. Holding an unknowing consumer to a higher standard than is reasonable - doesn't sound right.

 

Since I had the water flowing into the passenger compartment footwell, after the carwash,the dash mounted CD player does not play, and the fanno longer blows in my 2003 S430 Mercedes Benz. Is there a standard fix for the blower motor and CD player or is it there a module that gets replaced or both?

 

I also had a water leak messed up my Sam , what's a blower?? And what els is ganna mess up ?
