Default Washer fluid warning

First off i would like to say hello to everyone as i am a first time poster. I have a 2000 s500 and the other day the dash read " washer fluid low" or something to that extent and i immediately bought washer fluid and topped it off. When i restart the car the warning is still there, anyone got any ideas? is there something i have to reset? i usually get this stuff done at the dealer but decided to try it myself this time. Thanks ahead of time for any helpfull comments or insight.

I am concerned that the washer fluid indicatordid not clear when you restarted the car with afull reservoir. I have learned though that you can reset the display on the dash by pressing the "R" button on the right of the display when the washer fluid error is present. This works when the washer fluid and tail light indicator hijack the digital display too. I hope that works. If not, consider cleaning or replacing the sensor in the reservoir. Just an idea though, no experience to back that up. Good luck.

By the way, which version of the navigation CD's do you have?? the latest came out on 1/07.
