My 2000 S500 driver side window just stop working a few days ago.
When I pressed the down button, I heard a click sound (like a relay) but the window did not go down.
I disassembled the door panel and I did not see any physical damage. I did not hear the motor running
when the button was pressed at all. So this may rules out the window regulator problem.
Is it the switch problem, I didnot think so because I did hear the 'clicking' sound of the relay when the switch
was pressed. I am guessing the motor is dead !!!
Please help. I cannot afford the service at the dealer anymore.

check the motor, disconnect it and apply 12V to it
