S430 Cooling Fan issue PLS HELP!!

Default S430 Cooling Fan issue PLS HELP!!

Hello all new to the group first benz Love it but first prob I heard the fan making some noise and could feel it going bad so I ordered a new one from dealer.. Here is the issue before it came in it locked up and stopped.. Check coolant visit workshop came up I didnt drive much it was still 80 - 85.. I parked it and waitied for the fan.. Picked up the the fan istalled it in 5 min turned on AC so it would come on right away and NOTING checked plugs and all warmed it up and still get visit workshop!! Checked fuses and all seem okay What should I do next?

Car is 2000 model Vin Ya047069

Pls help

Not sure but the car most probably thinks the Cooling fan is inoperative and needs a reset or alternatively the fuse blew when the fan failed.
Was the motor o the old unit Seized? If so likely blown the fuse.
If the old motor was OK then maybe something more obscure like the controller.

THanks for the reply Snanceki.

The motor did seize, I cheked all the fuses on both sides under the hood and they all appear okay. I took a Volt meter to the plug for the fan and turned key on with defrost on thinking I should get a reading and nothing 0 volts. HOw do I reset it?
