Default I hope this is the right spot...

I am working on my dads W126 300SD Turbodiesel. The trans(722.303) is shot, and we are rebuilding it. However I cannot find a source for the K2 clutch piston retainer(ours is cracked, and will leak in the future I think), or O-rings for the K1, and K2 clutch piston retainers. So where do I get these? Transtar claims that if MB can't supply it to them, they won't/can't get it. Isn't there an aftermarket supplier for any of these internal pieces?

And what about thrust washers, MB says they can't get those either.

Elsewise the build up is going great, except I can't build anything without the above mentioned pieces

I thought Merkurs were hard to buy parts for

Thanks for the links, I'll keep those guys in mind. After I posted I called all over everywhere, and was referred to Silver Star in OK. He's gonna get me fixed up, and is reasonable on prices. He knew the instant I said 126 I was working on a 722.303, and was more than willing to give me a hand. Hopefully I can have parts soon, and have the trans built in a weekend or 2. So much for it being on the road by X-mas...
