My S430 has the CD changer in the trunk. I loaded a magazine with music CDs,
pushed it in place, and closed the cover. When trying to play, it says there is
no magazine installed, and it will not eject the magazine from the player.

I am unable to pull it out, and thought perhaps there was a special tool, or other measure, to free the
magazine without removing the entire unit.

Are there any suggestions? Thanks!

Do a search on the board, someone posted a while back how to get the magazineout. I remember U have to take out the player and also take off the top cover. and it lifts out. Or go to a good audio shop and they will do it for you, my son did this and it only cost $30 for one hour labor.
