I broke the plastic support the connects the bumper shell to the cross member. It is held to the bumper by clips and rivets. It is secured to the cross member by eight heavy duty bolts. The first number reads 1408800670, next line reads 473540, and the last line says PC/PBT... Nobody from Mercedes USA dealerships can cross these numbers for me... Can anyone find updated part number for this??? For VIN# WDBGA43E5R180107 (1994 S420)...... Is it possible that Mercedes intergrated this part into the new replacement bumpers????

 

Any help here is appreciated, my father is pushing me just to glue it back together because it is a part you can't see from the outside, But I ripped it off so bad it would be more glue than support, and personally I would rather replace it than rig it...
