I had heard that M-B was going to offer a device that would allow some, or perhaps all of their cars to work with BlueTooth devices......mine is a 2001 S430 and I understood that this device would work in MB's from 2000 forward.

Does anyone have any info on this subject.

Then you ought to jump on it. Retro-fit if necessary, but keep and preserve your automobile. Notice I didn't say CAR!
