My phone won't connect with the blue tooth anymore. It tries to make the connection, then I get a message that the phone is off. I have the 550E 2007 model.

 

is the blue toohh on your cell phone turned on??? If it is not the turn it on and reconnect to the mc phone system

 

Yes bluetooth is turned on. MB bluetooth blinks as if trying to connect, it suddenly connects and immediately then turns off. But has been working fine prior to this.

 

I have been in blue tooth hell with my E350 for the last 6 month. At first all worked great for 6 month then it started. Come to find out they had to replace the harness to the module twice and now they are saying that the brand new phone I bought, a LG shine is not compatible because the self lock feature of the keypad is locking up the screen. I am not sure which phone to upgrade to because hte www.wireless4mb.com lists only outdated phones none of them are on ATT any more. This is been a very huge disapointment to me. the car is great but Mercedes do not know what is going on with the wireless blue tooth technology. I should have saved my money and purchased an ear adaptor, it looks like I will still have to do that. any one out there have any suggestions what phone to try that ATT sells. I am not spending 400 dollars on a phone that wireless4mb sells.
