I have a 2004 E 500 I tried to use blue tooth Razor phone no way to connect. BMW owners say in their cars Blue tooth connects no problem. Called Mercedes and ordered Blue tooth adapter $345.00 no problem but then Mercedes says I need to buy a phone kit for $2000.00 this too much to use a phone in the car man. The car has the Navigation system and buttons on the console for phone and satalite radio but to go to the dealer to hook em up is just too much money. Any know of a back door way to hack into the system? or where to get parts at a reasonable price? Do I need to install a phone kit and purchase a MB phone subscription? Dealer is not talking clear I am thinking about just getting a BMW or Range Rover.
