I have an 00 S430 and it calls for 0w40 Mobil 1. I checked this with several dealers b/c the idiot owner's manual does not list a weight, it says "contact the dealer".

The Home link is tricky and the manual was useless. I referred to my Honda manual to program the S430. You can go online to Homelink's website. If you need I can post details, it's almost Midnight and no time to write it up now. Post up if you don't have any luck and I'll give the sequence.

2) Hold the end of the hand-held transmitter of the device you wish to train approximately 2 to 5 inches away from the surface of the integrated remote control located on the inside rear view mirror, keeping the indicator lamp in view.
3) Using both hands, simultaneuosly push the hand held transimitter button and the desired integrated remote control button. Do not release the buttons until completeing step 4.
4) The indicator on the integrated remote control will flash, first slowly and then rapidly. When the indicator lamp flashes rapidly, both buttons may be released(the rapid flashing indicteas succesful programming. To program the remamining two buttons, folow steps 1 through 4.

I finally got the homelink remotes to work

first I had to reset the buttons by pressing the 2 outside buttons at the same time for about 20 seconds untill it blinks

then I went on programming each button by pressing on both the button and the remote for 30 seconds or so untill it blinks again

You guys must not have a rolling code door opener. I had to press a button on the back of the overhead unit in the garage and within 30 seconds do an additional training step in the car by holding the homelink button down (done after the initial training).
