94 S420 Door problems...
Hi, new member here.
Anyways, the passenger door has two problems. First, the auto-close feature that enables the door to shut itself complete automatically if you don't shut the door all the way no longer works. I am not familiar as to its mechanism so, where do I start?
Also, the same door rarely locks itself. I press lock button, and it gets stuck as if there's a lot of gunk that's prohibiting it lock. I have to manually press really really hard down on the door lock to get it to lock, otherwise, that door will just not lock.
I've already checked upon the wiring and fuse boxes, so both problems are most likely just pure mechanical.
So, tell me where do are start? Any known solutions? thanks.

RE: 94 S420 Door problems...
both of them are using pneumatic with different pump for door closing and door locking.
does removing and re-installing the fuse 3 and 9 in the trunk resets the door problem?
your locking got leak somewhere and cannot get enough vacuum to pull the lock down.

SleepWalker...no pun intended, but it sounds like the owner just don't want to maintain the vehicle! Doesn't sound like an enthusiast at all! Sounds more like, he wants the vehicle to never incur a problem or situation!
My advise is: "Do some Maintenance!" Fix it!"
