Default 380sl starting problems

380sl starting problem.
On 1/06 I made this post and got a cpl of good suggestions. one was ck the relay connection behind the glove box as well as ck the fuel filter. I have put a new coil on and replaced the rotor. I haven't got behind the glove box to ck the conections on the relay.
The car has been sitting but not long enough that the engine doesn't spin over very well. The other day I went out to start the car
and it seemed liked it wanted to start and my friend took a o-meter and checked to make sure all the sensors were getting juice
(spark) Even though the engine kicked over fine he said to put a charge on the battery for an hour or so and when I went out it started.
The battery in the car is big but I dont have the cranking pwr specs but could it be the battery even though it spun over just fine
ealier before I put a charge on it. The previous owner replaced the alternator so I know that's ok and the car had this problem before he even
did anything to the alternator. I'M stumped, HELP
Chuck

so it's quite clear that you only got battery problem.

if you turn on the ignition switch, there's a battery indicator light on it. if it goes off with engine running, then charging is fine.
