Default 2002 s600 car alarm?

no motion sensors, no glass breakage sensors? technically, I can break my windows take whatever is inside as long as I don't unlock the door and the alarm will not go off?

just had a breakin last night and they will not cover the cost of my windshield mounted navigation nor the built in phone. and the insurance is giving me a hard time about replacing the interior seats despite powder-fine glass shards all over the interior.

Progressive car insurance, they've been good to me in the past but this time they are a bit tough. can anyone recommend a better insurance company? i'd hate to have my car stolen and then they'll tell me i'll need to wait about 3 years to see if vehicle gets recovered first before they write me a check .

thank you!

your car should have motion sensor. it is required by insurance company.

if you're not sure, i can check from your VIN.

Allstate is usually good, Gieco is iffy, and some of the small not widely known ones are hit or miss. Just from my experiences. I currently go with USAA, but it's a good worldwide insurance company mostly for military and such but they might cater to civilians too. I dont' know.

And as long as you have what they call it, full coverage or the theif/act of god coverage, they shouldn't hesistate to repair it assuming that it didn;t total out ya car, and you payed the (just got of of a 8 eight hour powerpoint class so my brain is a little numb and thus I can't think of some of the words and stuff.) $100, $200, $300, $500 or $1000 required then it should be fine. Especially since the phone was built in as in it's a factory option and stuff. I wish they did replace the seats but I doubt they would do it since the yare not visibly damaged. They probably tell you to take it to a detail shop for the powder fine glass. But then again, I noticed that a lot of insurance places have been acting froggy and skittish lately and been trying everything in thier power to avoid a pay out like if they take three grand, fix the damage, they will go bankrupt. Some people pay more than three grand a year for full coverage.

I know at Allstate they covered everything, even the stuff inside from the jewelry to the purse to the bibles inside the vehicle when my parent's car got stolen.
