My blower is on crack it comes on when it feels it seems like when i hit bumps it comes on. I opened up the compartment and removed the filter and pushed down on the motor and it worked so i put everything together and started driving and nothing. Something must be loose but by observation everything is good.

 

Can relate. I had similar issues. I tried once to replace just the blower regulator, but that was a waste of $$, it was really the brushes in the old blower motor. I tried to fix brushes, but that was a metal bending mess. Suggest, find on eBay or otherwise on the web, newer motor with regulator, or rebuilt/new blower motor, even if you have to buy a regulator separate. Usually, a rebuilt blower motor assembly includes a new regulator.

 

If you are certain it is the brushes and you want to replace the motor only look for the Bosch motor Bosch# 0 130 111 024. Your will have to remove squirrel cage (blower wheel) from the motor and then press it back onto the shaft of the new motor. That can be a little tricky as the hub of the plastic squirrel cage is prone to cracking under too much pressure. Also watch out that you get the wheel somewhat balanced or it will drive you crazy when it starts to vibrate in the car. As far as the blower regulator you can get either a Behr or a Kaehler (KAE) regulator.

1997 500s blower motor does not come on..looking for ckt diagram so i can trouble shoot...my freind has an on line service and it does not show the blower motor ckt,any ideas .this is.my freinds car.and he is cold..thanks for help
