Window Roll-Up Problem

Window Roll-Up Problem
Has anyone had a problem with the ML350 4 door Utility windows??? My left rear Passenger window just stopped working today. I got the window to roll up 3/4 of the way but that is as far as it will go. For the amount of money this vehicle cost me, I am disappointed with the quality of the mechanics as well as the exterior window frames that have discolored in three years.
Has anyone else had the same problem with the windows and if so what did it cost to get it repaired??
Thank you,
Jhall

RE: Window Roll-Up Problem
Yes, I would appreciate knowing the answer to this question also, as my ML320 has done the same thing with my driver's side window. No warning whatsoever -- rolled down, and now refuses to go back up; won't even attempt to do so.

RE: Window Roll-Up Problem
This issue happened with my 2000 ML430 quite a while back now...
They had to replace the window switch unit on the center console.
I don't remember what it cost, but it wasn't cheap.
I have to say, that the more I read in this forum the more I discover recurring problems.
Loss of power (had that), won't start (had that), window (had that), sunroof (had that),
passenger seat SRS (had that). [:@]
If you are still under warranty, extend it while it's still reasonablely priced. I'm out of
warranty... I think it's time to sell my 430 (I need to down size anyway). It's not that I don't
enjoy my ML, I do... but the M class still hasn't worked out all the issues and it has been 8 years +.
Good Luck.

RE: Window Roll-Up Problem
here is the deal. i think the ML i own and all ML's for that matter are a joke. mine is a fuel sucking, top heavy, unreliable automobile. also for anyone that does not know, all M series from mercedes are made right here in the united states in alabama. i am not ripping on american car makers but it is amazing how my ML disapoints me time and time again. stalling, window malfunctions, air conditioning malfunctions are just a standard as an owner of this car.
