The new ML is a lot smoother ride. But they also still have the same problems as the first MLs. They have a lot of recalls on them. And Im thinking the electronic shifter will cause problems when it gets older.

Default RE: thinking about buying new ML350

I have an 06 ML350 with 8K. I ordered it with the premium pkg and a number of other goodies. I did order the chrome grill guard which gives it a very aggressive look. I love the interior and the acceleration is better than I expected. I lease my vehicles but this one may be a keeper. My wife lives the cargo room and ease of handeling. I agree it does not handle like my M5 but it is an SUV. However, I shopped quite a bit for this SUV and must say I was very impressed with the overall resesign and especially the interrior. I work with a number of physicians who all have high end MB's. They all have commented how impressed they are with the redesign especially the interrior. I have not had any issues with the car. Average about 22mpg on the highway 18 city. I have greyleather interrior and platinum exterior.

Hope you go with the 350. I do not believe you will be dissappointed.

Mark
