Took delivery on a new ML350 yesterday and the sound system is horrendous. My old Hyundai stock system killed it.

I didn't get the premium sound because I didn't want the CD changer since I have Ipod Integration. Now at full volume the sound doesn't even move me.

Is there a way to get the premium sound option now or is that a factory option?

Any other suggestions?

no retrofit on sound system.

you may add aftermarket booster amplifier.

bose or harman kardon is good.

 

I have not taken delivery of my 350 yet, but did get the premium sound. When I test drove a 350 that had premium sound I brought along my IPOD and plugged it in to test the sound quality. The 350 I drove did not have integration just the aux input jack in the glove box. You may have tried this but I discovered that the best sound was obtained by making sur ethe volume on the IPOD was low and then adjust the level with the radio controls.
