HELP!! How to replace '01 ML430 Brake Pads and Rotors
I need to replace my brake pads and rotors before tomorrow morning to get out of Denver and get on the road. Does anyone have instructiong and diagrams of how to replace the pads and rotors on a 2001 ml430? I have the wheels of and took the calipers off to remove the pin to replace the pads andd brake fluid stated dripping, is this right? and also I can cannot get the rotor off becauce there are compression pins holding the rotor on, how do you remove the rotor? Thanks! If someone could provide a link or some instuctions on how to replace pads and rotors on a 2001 ml430 it would be greatly appreciated!

OK I figured it out. There is only one bolt that holds the rotor. Then you got to bang the crap out of it. What worked for me was to turn the steering to one side, so I could get a couple of good swings at it, and it came right off.
Thanks
Thanks
