Hello, I just purchased this car 2 days ago. The alarm system seems to be de-activated and is not working. The car is not responding to the remote control. Is there any way to re-activate it? What can I do on my own or do I have to go to a dealer? Thanks for your help!!

 

The alarm is automatically activated, by locking the car with the remote.
If the remote doesn't work, how do you know the alarm is not working?

 

Thanks kajtek for your help. Do you know if the alarm is supposed to become activated even if I lock the doors without the remote? If not, then I'm probably supposed to check the remote control, right? Thanks again for your help!
