2010 ML vibration issues....help.
Hello, I was hoping for some opinions regards ongoing vibration issues i notice in my 2010 ML 350.
I purchased the car used with around 65k miles on it. soon after i noticed vibration at times but more often than not it was when going slightly up hill, 40 mph, 1.2 to 1.5 k revs. Mercedes diagnosed it as a failed torque converter... i managed to get it replaced (free of charge..long story)... however it never fully went away.
sometimes a slight shudder but also on very smooth flat roads feels like i'm going over small bumps.....recently i've been putting the car into neutral when driving for some fault finding....no change to sensation when in gear or out...
points to note....
my break pads do need changed...just a pass last year but done now... when breaking there is also a distinct shudder...
my tyres are very cheap and two of them have been repaired..
lastly its at its worst when driving on country roads in that i'm switching between accelerator and break constantly...after a run like that the car starts to feel sluggish....rough...like it's dragging...struggling to go.
what's the thoughts?...maybe a combination of poor tyres and sticking break calipers when breaks heat up ?? or something more serious ?
any help / thoughts appreciated
cheers
