Here's another couple of questions for you knowledgeable folk out there!
Does anyone have any comments on why the steering pumps on these ml class are so noisy!, even when at rest and the wheels not being turned there a constant hum in the background filling the cabin, and when turning corners at low speed the thing wines and groans like your ex-wife!
Yes, it's been checked for tolerances and leaks and prescribed as fine! and I drove another car to make a comparison and it was much the same so whats it all about?
Also, why is the steering so lifeless I find it heavy, with too many turns lock to lock, and reluctant to re-center after turning- feels like your driving a bus not a car any ideas on why they made them this way?.thanks in advance for any input!
