Any thoughts folks? The air flows in fine but is not cold.

Low on refrigerant? Turn it on and check system pressures to see what is going on.

Default A/C blowing warm Air

I have the same problem on my 98 E320. the clutch kicks in but it does not cool. I checked the pressure. the low pressure is about 33 and the high presure is 100 PSI(too low). I tried to add more refigirant but the system won't suck it in.

I appreciate any help.

Sometimes you have to wait a while for the suction affect and your refrigerant can have to be higher and upside down to get the liquid flow into your A/C system. Add little by little at a time to suction side (thicker pipe) to avoid overcharge and check each time with your pressure gauge.

The correct refrigerant valume will build correct pressure in your system. The best way is to recover all the refrigerant from your system and recharge it with specified waight on the label in engine compartment. You can get low side pressure gauge at auto parts store or walmart, plug it into your A/C port and it will show you if you need more refrigerant/pressure. Comes with (easy to use) instructions.

Default A/C blowing warm Air

My high pressure in my 98 e320 reads 100 PSI which is very low but the low pressure reads 33 PSI (normal). Howeve, it blows warm air. any body knows what causes the low high pressure reading and the warm air?

Preciate the help
