Default Keyless Go Driver Side Door Issue (Both Doors)

Hello,

Both the doors on the driver’s side will not lock from the button on the door handle. They will unlock if I pull them. They will lock and unlock from the key fob, button on the interior of the door and from the passenger side door. The system works perfectly on the passenger side of the truck.

I have read a few posts that stated that it could be an issue with a fuse. I pulled and tested the Keyless Go fuse (33), Door CU Driver (34) and Door CU Passenger (26), however the issue was not fixed.

I have also read a few articles that stated that the door handle needed to be replaced. I just find it a bit odd that both door handles would die at the same.

Has anyone else had this same issue and was able to get it fixed? I don't to replace the door handles and the problem not be fixed.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Tonya

I was able to resolve the issue with my door handles. I read in other thread about insert the key fob into the ignition to reset the system.
Removed Push to Start button.
Inserted key fob into the ignition.
Turn to start and the truck does NOTHING.
Reinsert Push to Start button truck starts up.
Repeat the above steps a second time and I get the same result.
Exit the truck and push the door handle button out of pure habit and VOILA the doors lock.
Tested and both doors handles are working like they did before.
New issue now is why is the key fob not starting the truck. LOL
I'm going to change the battery and see if that solves my new issue.
GOOD TIMES LOL
