Busy transplanting a 300E motor and gearbox into my 460 G-wagen. Have a complete w124 in good working order. As I understand it the 300E engine was only available in the 463 chassis. My question:

How does the 460 and 463 chassis compare with regards to engine mounting points? The mounting "stubs" or support brackets bolted on to the engine is of interest. If the chassis hardpoints are the same I can simply buy the brackets, if not I will have to design them.
