Hi,

A friends friend is selling his 300E built 1987 and having driven one of those in Europe a couple of years ago I can still feel this ringing in my belly when sitting in the car. So I am thinking about getting that one. Offer is $2500. Sadly I have no idea what to look for when I check the car. Can you give me some suggestions or a hint where I can find some?

Inspect bushings,trans and all wiring.A compression test will help to make sure the engine is solid.If the car is in nice shape with lower then average miles 2 grand would be a fair price 2500 is to much unless it is mint.
solid cars so if anything feels out of sorts you will know by the feel of it what is wrong.
