1997-1999 S320, What to look/look out for?
I'm considering buying one of the black on black S320's for sale near me, and want to know what the most important considerations when choosing a used MB? I know how to check basic things like the oil and coolant and transmission fluid, but what specific checks do I need to perform on a W140 sedan, V6 engine, automatic?
These cars have 81K, 120K, and 155K, and cost $11K, $10K, and $8K, respectively. All long-wheelbase models with stock wheels, no modifications that I can see from the ads, and the two higher mileage ones allegedly have full maintenance records. The low mileage one is for sale by a Lexus dealer and they admit not having any receipts on the car.

OK, don't everybody all post at once...
I've narrowed it down to either leasing my wife a new Impala or buying a used S320 or S420, 97-99 model. Two of the three S320's already sold and I'm also considering looking at older models since there aren't too many around now.
What should I be looking for when I check these cars out?
