I have a on 05 e320.. I think MB owners are just pickier than most other car owners and more to complain. I think if you get a 2/3 yr old Mercedes it's definetly a better value than going out and buying a new accord or camery.

You don't buy a Mercedes for praticality... you buy it for the MB experience.I have owned BMW's, Cobra's, Cadlillac's etc.. This is the best car I have (and the biggest head turner) I have driven. Mainanance costs are high so get an extended warante.

 

Don't always run from an E Bay car. Unless you are strapped with cash, not everyone can go to the dealer for a used Benz. You may pay a premium for a car with a tiny dealership warranty and a nice wax job. Or you could pay market value for a vehicle based on your own research. It's always a gamble. I'd rather look at 12 different 1998 E320s all compared to one another instead of telling some jerkhole salesman that I'm "just looking" at his one 1998 E320 for sale. If you research long enough, you may find a nice used Benz listed by an enthusiast who has taken care of his sled. They are usually easy to spot and can be confirmed if you pick up the phone and talk to the owner.
