Default W124 Very little low end power and no fan?

Hi I am a new owner, my 91 300TE with 163,000 miles does not seem to have any low end power, when I stomp on the gas it just moves up slowly. Also there is no fan on the climate control system. Don't care about the A/C but will need heat this winter. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi,
With that kind of mileage ,

Try clean up your throttle body and your engine idler .. im pretty sure its clog and dirty. Try use Throttle body cleaner or choke carburetor cleaner. That iss what i would do if i were you

Oh , by the way do this on open air because it will flush out all those dirty carbon out through your exhaust+ cleans out your combustion chamber. Before start warm up the engine and spray into it. Leave it a few mins like 4mins to let the carbon dissolve down. Read the instructions on the can before you start

*you will encounter hard cranking - but continue till the engine starts. Its the part of the cleaning process where all those dirt and chemical spray is trying to ignite in your combustion chamber. Rev up to 3000rpm constant to flush out the carbons out for maybe 4mins. DO repeat the process if needed.

Im sure you will get a better results

Good Luck Buddy!
