Default w123 clutch issues

I have a 1984 w123 M/B M102 920 carb engine which I recently was converting it from the automatic transmission to manual but I got a problem with the clutch system. after bleeding the clutch wasn't disengaging to allow for the gears to engage and I was asking if I may have bought the wrong clutch master cylinder or the wrong slave cylinder? secondly, I also wanted to inquire if they come in different types, and what's the difference??
