Default Please help! Switch idetification

Hello,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. I recently developed soft brakes after my 2000 E430 was transported from Chicago to Miami. Pads good, brake fluid level good, no obvious leaks. I noticed what looks to be a switch next to the brake manifold that keeps clicking non-stop.

I need help identifying the switch, what function it serves and if it could contribute to soft brakes.

I have attached a picture. The part has "MOT" written on it. Thanks, Matt
