Default Parking Brake Release Handle

The handle grip on my '99 E320 parking brake release broke off. It is still operable if you grab the shaft. We want to replace the brake release, so here are my questions: 1) Where can we get this part? (Modesto, CA) 2) Can we do this ourselves? 3) How do we find out what's involved, like a manual?
Thanks for any insight.

Default RE: Parking Brake Release Handle

there is a dealer in Modesto go there to get the part. yes there very simple to install. remove the drivers side under dash panel(its like 4 screws and pull it down hard) the handle slides in and just slide the cable into the slot.
