Default No rear brakes on 220TE

I have a MB 220TE and now I have problems with no rear brakes. I have tested to change the main brake cylinder (not sure about the correct english name). I have also tested if there is a stop in the pipes but with no result. Does anyone have any idea?

Patrick

<EDIT: It is a -93, W124>

the brake system on your car is quite simple and straightforward.

you may start tracing for pressure starting from the master cylinder. use your finger to stop the pressure while somebody steps on the pedal.

then follow the line doing the same thing... ABS hydraulic unit, and before it enters the caliper.

bleed it well.
