I have a 1998 E300..Does anyone recommend changing the transmission fluid as the car has 247k on it . Now ..the transmission has been taking awhile to shift into gear after actually shifting it into D.. also has been acting funny between 2nd & 3rd .. like it's slipping. Does anyone have somewhere i can start in terms of , should i change the transmission fluid ? and if so .. hard to conquer ? or better to pay a reputable shop to do the work.
Now I live in Ft Walton Beach , Fl .. does anyone know of a shop in this area that i can trust ?
