How to connect again the power antenna? and Speakers question.
Hi, sorry for my bad english.
I just bought a Mercedes E420 1994. The last owner used a satellite radio in the car and disconnected the power antenna of the car to avoid noise or something like that. When I turn on the radio the antenna does not move at all. I want to use the antenna again and I checked in the trunk and all the cables looksOk in the right place. Maybe was disconnected on the radio? Do you know the easy way to remove the radio (cassette player) without damage the wood console?
Also I want to change the front speakers. (the left one soundswith a strange vibrationor something)Do you know if I will find the same size in the sound stores? I don't want to modify anything in the car.
Thanks!!

RE: How to connect again the power antenna? and Speakers question.
Do you have an aftermarket cassestte player in the car?
If it is a aftermarket cassesste there will be a Blue or Blue with white stripe wire that needs to be connected to the power antenna wire not a hard fix at all.
If it is stock i am not sure cause i have never been lucky enough to get a Mercedes soon enough b4 someone else has cut into the factory harness. My guess would be that it will be obvious that a wire will be disconnected and will either need to be spliced back together or plugged back in.
Also yes you can find speakers at an Audio or a Best Buy or Circuit City that will fit.

To check connections to the readio, you need to take it out;
