Hi. I am not new to my '06 MB E350, but I am new to this forum.

I got the car new a few years ago and love it... but I am interested in tracking it. I have a heavily modded '82 BMW that I currently drive on the track for sport/club events but it's not enough.

I am left with a few options. One of which is to hop up my E and drive that. The other is to buy something else used like an E55 or an M5... which is a second choice.

So, my question is whether anyone has done this here. ? What I would do is keep it street-friendly (no cage, keep the interior) but do the obvious mods like performance chip, suspension, brakes. The main performance things.

Any experience here with doing this?
